CONGO TRIP 2013
Introduction
The planned trip has been postponed to February 2013. We are planning to return to the same location we got our dogs in 2010. If you are interested in joining this trip or acquiring a puppy please .
The Trip
To get to the Congo we will fly out of New York's JFK airport on Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca. From Casablanca we will fly to Kinshasa.
We would then fly Kinshasa to Basankusu. Gocongo will handle in country arrangements which includes Air flight, the pirogue and supplies, and the crew to take us up the Maringa River to Bokolekila village. All our imports came from the village of Bokole. When we went down to the village we were there for a short time. This time we plan to travel directly to Bokole village and stay for a week. When we arrive in Bokoli we will rent motorcyles with driver and bicycles to facilitate travel south and east of Bokole.

Mon 18 – Travel up Maringa river, visit villages
Tue 19 – Travel up Maringa river, visit villages
Wed 21 – Travel up Maringa river, arrive in Bokoli
Thu 22 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Fri 23 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Sat 24 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Sun 25 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Mon 26 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Tue 27 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
Wed 28 – See dogs in Bokoli and surrounding villages
March
Thu 1 – Travel down the Maringa river and visit villages
Fri 2 – Travel down Maringa river and visit villages
Sat 3 – Travel down river. Arrive back at Basankusu
Sun 4 – Fly back to Kinshasa.
Mon 5 – Take dogs for vet visit (Clinique Veterinaire Kinoise). Visit Market. Confirm flight.
Fly out of Kinshasa to Casablanca after Monday.
